Overview
To train and equip the students with knowledge and Clinical /beside skills sets and competencies to function effectively in assisting the Registered Nurses to carry out competency based duties delegated to the Assistant Nurses in any healthcare facility including Hospitals, long term care, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers etc.
What students will learn: Competencies of a nursing assistant. Roles of a nursing assistant in the health care services team.
Courses includes basic human Anatomy and Physiology, Basic principles of Nursing, Ethics and Clinical communication, Vital signs and clinical documentation, Care of the sick patients from infancy to old age; Surgical instruments and asepsis, Prenatal and postnatal Nursing care, Practice within scope of training, 4weeks Practicum during which the Auxiliary Nurse works under supervision.
Programme is recognised worldwide and usable internationally.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 Credits in no more than 2 sittings (must include English Language and Mathematics)
- Police clearance report and/or Undertaking of good behaviour & active participation
- Guarantor’s letter (Obtain format from the school)

- Sneakers/Covered flat sole shoes (no sandals, heels or slippers)
- Writing materials (Obtainable at the school)
- Stethoscope (optional and obtainable at the school)
- Facemask/Respirator (as required)
