Overview
Anyone who handles, prepares and serves food must have adequate training, instruction and supervision in food safety for all tasks they are deemed, same for all employees involved in food production, preparation and sale.
This programme provides students with core content required to understand the legal requirements around food preparation, potential hazards related to food safety, and how to apply best practices.
Modules are split into Personal hygiene, Food hygiene, food and drug act. Food contamination, nutrition and hygiene, environmental hygiene, food spoilage, computer and ICT.

Duration
Students are only required to be present in school during hours or days which they have classes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 Credits in no more than 2 sittings in WAEC, NECO or GCE
- Police clearance report and/or Undertaking of good behaviour & active participation
- Guarantor’s letter (Obtain format from the school)
Materials
- Scrubs (N8,000 per piece. N15,000 for 2)
- Sneakers/Covered flat sole shoes (no sandals, heels or slippers)
- Writing materials (Obtainable at the school)
- Facemask, Apron, hand gloves and head warp
- Handout per study unit/week (as applicable: 1k per Unit)
